Get on board awe-inspiring locomotives, watch our engineers at work in the Workshop, uncover hidden treasures in the Warehouse and make tracks to the outdoor area. The children can let off steam in the outdoor play area, and the miniature railway ride is perfect for the whole family.

Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park

Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park is a new visitor attraction in the beautiful historic arboretum at Askham Bryan College. Open throughout the summer holidays from 22nd July until 3rd September 2017. (Please check their website for open dates at other times of the year.) The wildlife park has lots of different zones, with a variety of amazing animals to see. The animals come from around the world - when you visit you might see a fish from a Yorkshire stream, a lemur from the forests of Madagascar or a wallaby from the Australian bush.
